Play Days
BRIO recently participated in a series of observational play days in Malmö designed to see how the children interacted and played with the new Network items.
As you can see from the photo, the children were highly engaged in play fun the entire time and all went home happy. It was fantastic to once again be reminded firsthand that the "nuts and bolts" of this business are children. Classes with boys and girls ages 3-7 were observed with the items. Though all interacted and found the toys relevant, the older age groups 6-7 years old, were particularly fascinated with the play features (playing mails over and over again) and figures so we hope that this is a great sign to keep interest in BRIO at older ages. The teachers also commented their approval, indicating "they must be quite good to keep their interest on nice spring days when they usually want to be outside".
It is also the start of what we hope to be a continuing partnership with local schools to test items with children to ensure we make meaningful and developmental toys that consumers have come to expect from the BRIO brand.
