o2 Produktion's wind farms in full operation

April 7, 2009

Proventus’ investments in renewable electricity production, through o2 Produktion, continue to develop. In December 2007, o2 Produktion commissioned three wind farms – Säliträdberget, Hedbodberget and Bliekevare – with a total investment value exceeding SEK 1 billion.

Both Säliträdberget and Hedbodberget are now completed and in full operation. o2 Produktion’s total production (once all wind mills in Bliekevare are in full operation) will be 74MW (equivalent to 1/4 TWh), making it Sweden’s leading on-shore wind power company.

Säliträdberget is located outside Mora in Dalarna, Sweden. The wind farm consists of eight wind turbines, Vestas 2MW. It is anticipated to generate 45 Gwh electricity annually, equivalent to annual consumption of 8,000 households.

Hedbodberget is located outside of Rättvik in Dalarna, Sweden. The wind farm consists of nine wind turbines, Vestas 2MW. As part of a deal arranged by the developer, Vindkompaniet, four wind mills were divested in connection with completion of the wind farm. Two wind mills were divested to Rättviks kommun (the local municipality) who will use one wind mill for their own consumption and the other wind mill will be offered to local residents for co-investment. The remaining two wind mills were acquired by o2’s wind power cooperative, o2 Vind El.

Bliekevare is located outside of Dorotea in Västerbotten, Sweden. The wind farm consists of eighteen wind turbines, Vestas 2MW. As part of deal arranged by the developer, Vindkompaniet, two wind mills will be divested in connection with completion of the wind farm. Dorotea municipality will acquire one wind mill to use for their own electricity consumption. The last wind mill will be acquired by Kvarken Vind, a local wind power cooperative.
