The Per Ahlmark Foundation

The Per Ahlmark Foundation arranged a seminar entitled Re Thinking Multiculturalism at Proventus’ office in Stockholm on 14 January 2010. Kenan Malik, an independent writer (who wrote From Fatwa to Jihad), lecturer, researcher and broadcaster as well as Senior Visiting Fellow at the Department of Political, International and Policy Studies at the University of Surrey, appeared as key note speaker at the seminar followed by Dilsa Demirbag Sten, journalist and author and Per Svensson, journalist at Sydsvenska Daglbadet (Swedish daily paper).

The Per Ahlmark Foundation

As a politician and author and through his role in forming public opinion Per Ahlmark has a made a unique contribution to the fight for democracy and against totalitarian teachings and Anti-Semitism. The Per Ahlmark Foundation was created to celebrate his seventieth birthday on 15 January 2009. The purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific research and education in political science, economy and the history of ideas and Jewish History with a particular emphasis on matters relating to democracy and human rights. The foundation achieves this objective primarily by arranging seminars and awarding scholarships.
