Amanah was an NGO founded in Malmö, Sweden, in 2019. The initiative was taken by Orthodox Rabbi Michael Melchior from Jerusalem, Israel, with the Robert Weil Family Foundation as a founding partner.

With a focus on combating antisemitism and anti-Muslim hatred, Amanah worked at all levels of society – from schools and universities to religious communities and public institutions.

Respect and trust, together with knowledge, formed the foundation of Amanah’s work. As a non-political organisation, Amanah sought to create a space where people could come together across differences of opinion and perspective.

In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, Amanah entered a period of transformation. After a pause in its activities, the initiative re-emerged as the B.R.I.T. Center on January 1, 2025.
