BRIO at the International Toy Fair in Nürnberg

BRIO participates in the International Toy Fair in Nürnberg, the world’s leading fair for toys, hobby and leisure-time articles with approximately 80,000 visitors from over 100 nations, 2,785 exhibitors from 60 countries and 1 million products (60,000 of which are new launches).

The fair, which is open exclusively to the specialist trade, functions as an important communication and order platform for both national and international manufacturers as well as specialist traders and buyers from around the globe.

At the fair, BRIO's latest products within the play segments are being showcased. Each new item is uniquely BRIO: innovative with high design and play values. Children can continue their exploration of the BRIO universe when new characters, vehicles, buildings, animals, wagons and rails are added to BRIO Network, My First and the Classic Railway range.

– BRIO believes in the power of play and we are happy to be able to stimulate children’s play through many exiting launches during 2007. Since children’s play is an expression of the contemporary life, invention and development is fundamental to our company. Our new play concept BRIO Network is a sign for that, says Claes von Hauswolff, creative director at BRIO.

BRIO is also introducing the Mission set: Immuno in favour of UNICEF.
The Mission Set: Immuno is a role play set featuring CEF, the UNICEF worker, that comes to the village to catch the nasty virus SIRUV and immunize the children. BRIO will support the work of UNICEF by donating part of the income from this product to UNICEF.
