Center for Humanistic Education

Culture & Society

The Center for Humanistic Education (CHE) has been working within Ghetto Fighters’ Museum since 1995, tackling the two most sensitive issues in Israeli society – the Holocaust and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Center engages high-school students and teachers from the Arab and Jewish sectors in an examination of connections between the Holocaust, personal and social morals and implications for present Israeli society. CHE promotes the idea that the main lesson that should be drawn from the Holocaust is the need for a humanistic, democratic, tolerant society.

The Robert Weil Family Foundation has entered a three-year agreement of support to enable CHE new recruitment.
